These live, fresh Peruvian Torch cacti cuttings are approximetley 24cm tall x 5cm wide (9.5 X 2 inches), weigh about 190g & come in protective packaging.
These cuttings are very easy to grow. Just plant in free draining soil, keep in 50% shade in summer & water sparingly, if cacti shrink water some more.

TRADITIONAL USE
The ancient Incas cultivated Peruvian Torch all over the Andes for use in visionary, magi co, religious ceremonies. 19cm sections of the cactus were de-spined and eaten, usually with honey. Or shredded, boiled and drank with something sweet to improve taste. It is still used all over South America to this day.

We sell fresh viable seeds with high rates of germination. Should be sown on damp, sandy soil and kept in a propergator to keep humidity and temperatures of 25C to 30C. Seedlings take about 2 weeks to sprout and need at least half shade for the first year.
