IPOMOEA VIOLACEA |
MORNING GLORY |
PLANT FAMILY |
CONVOLVULACEAE |
An infamous hallucinogen in Mexico, producing psychedelic bright visuals and flowers to match in many colours.
We can get several types including flying saucers, pearly gates and heavenly blue. The later is always stocked. Can be planted outside in summer and seeds within a year.
SHAMANIC USE
The Aztecs would grind 5g to 7.5g (about 125 - 187 seeds), soak in cold water then strain and drink. Another way was to sprout the seeds, discard outer shells and eat the shoots.
Eating whole seeds causes nausea & sickness so the above methods were used to avoid this.
EFFECTS AND PROPERTIES
Very euphoric, soothing and trippy. Makes the ground move like liquid, puts exquisite symmetrical patterns on youÆre walls and gives a trace on everything. Like its cousin LSD but is milder and does not alter mood much, making it easy to handle.
ACTIVE CHEMICALS
D-lysergic acid amide, also known as LSA. Is similar to LSD and can be made into it.
LEGALITY
Morning glory seeds are legal to possess, sell etc everywhere. Its active chemical LSA is a Class A illegal drug in most countries. Extracting or using Morning glories to get high may also be illegal.
Above info is for interest, seeds sold for germination only.
