We buy these seeds from Brazilian Indians who still use them in shamanistic rituals to this day.
To germinate soak seeds in water until swollen ( 24 hours ) then sandwich in cotton wool. When shoots appear remove shell and plant. Likes warmth, 25 C.
SHAMANIC USE
Amer-indians cook 2 or 3 seeds ( 0.4g ) until they pop, grind into fine powder then mix with a quarter ash or edible lime to make a snuff known as Cohoba or Yopo. They snort it through blow pipes. The outer shell doesn't powder well so is often peeled and discarded. The seed is also smoked in pipes.
EFFECTS
Similar to Anadenanthera Colubrina Click but has a more powerful headrush kick and less visuals.
